At Tipperary Credit Union we are constantly considering new ways to make our service more convenient and more responsive to the demands of everyday life. With this in mind we have introduced a cash card you can use anytime, day or night, to withdraw money from your credit union account. We have called it cash 24/7 which quiet simply means your cash is available 24 hours a day 7 days per week. Freedom Having a cash 24/7 card means that you are not tied to our opening hours. Of course you are still as welcome as ever to use our “over the counter” service in the traditional manner but just think of the freedom this new innovation will give you: 24 HOUR ACCESS TO YOUR CASH OPEN 365 DAYS PER YEAR NO MORE TIME QUEUING TO DO A MANUAL WITHDRAWAL No Bank Charge

With your credit union cash 24/7 card you do not have to worry about transaction charges. A small annual account administration fee will apply. For as little as €16 per annum you are covered for all costs associated with your ATM card. Note: The Board of Directors reserves the right to vary the charges and administration fee option at any time. Adequate notice will be given to cash 24/7 cardholders.

How to use your Cash 24/7 Card

You can use your new card to withdraw up to €300 per day, (subject to available funds in your credit union account) from the cash 24/7 cash point located at our head office in Tipperary Town.

You will be issued with a Personal Identification Number (PIN) with your cash 24/7 card. Once you have memorised it you should destroy it. Do not write it down or disclose it to anyone - not even personnel at the credit union.

How do I apply for a cu cash 24/7 card?

Fill out a cu cash 24/7 application form (Note: these can be got at any Tipperary Credit Union branch office) and if you fit the criteria we will issue you with a PIN (Personal Identification Number). You can then collect your Tipperary Credit Union CU Cash 24/7 card at the credit union office. This PIN will be sent to you by post within 2 working days from the application date.

Future Developments

We are currently in negotiations with a leading Irish clearing bank to gain access to their nationwide ATM network. We will keep you posted. We are also in discussions with a leading Building Society to gain access to their EFT and ATM services. Admission to either or both of these systems will greatly improve ATM services to Tipperary Credit Union members.
