Savings Stamps

Tipperary Credit Union operate a stamp based savings scheme where members can save for holidays, clothes, sports gear, phone bills, car tax and insurance, television licence etc.

To begin with savers get a Tipperary Credit Union stamp card. Each savings stamp costs €2 and in our Head Office can be purchased from the Automatic Stamp Vending Machine. Tipperary Credit Union savings stamps can also be purchased in our Doon, Dundrum, Cappawhite, and Hollyford Branches.

Each saving stamp card can take 30 stamps, so the total value of a completed card is €60.

Half cards (€30) or full cards (€60) can be redeemed for cash at Tipperary Credit Union or any Branch office. Full or half cards can also be transferred into a Tipperary Credit Union savings account.

Beanie Club

Tipperary Credit Union’s Beanie Club is a savings club designed for our younger members. The savings club helps to introduce the credit union to children at an early age and also teaches and encourages them to save.

On joining Tipperary Credit Union our Beanie saver receives their own Beanie Membership Book and a Beanie Piggy Bank. Beanie Club members will receive on their Birthday their very own Beanie Birthday Card.

New Babies Account:

Tipperary Credit Union Beanie Savings Accounts opened for new babies will receive a €10 starting off gift from Tipperary Credit Union. (Note: This €10 cannot be withdrawn until the member turns 16)

Beanie Savings Stamps

Our Beanie Savings Stamps are designed for Primary school children, Each beanie stamp costs 50c. Beanie savers get a Tipperary Credit Union “Beanie Stamp” card; each stamp card can take 30 stamps; the value of a completed card is €15.

Half cards (€7.50) or full cards (€15) can be redeemed for cash at Tipperary Credit Union or any branch office. Completed cards can be transferred into a Tipperary Credit Union savings account. Parents must accompany children cashing Beanie Stamps.
