Daffodil Day 2021
Daffodil Day takes place on the 26th of March this year. Ordinarily, it is a day for us all to join together in a show of support for people locally who are affected by cancer. In a Covid free world, a team of local and corporate volunteers would once again take to the streets to raise crucial funds to help alleviate some of the struggles cancer patients are facing.
However, with restrictions in place, this is not possible.
The Irish Cancer Society need our help to draw attention to the fact that cancer has not gone away. Cancer patients all over Ireland now more than ever need our support.
Daffodil Day is the most popular charity event in Ireland and is a chance for everyone to make a real difference to the lives of those affected by cancer in Ireland. This support will enable terminally ill cancer patients to be cared for at home by Night Nurses during their final days. It will ensure free information, advice and support is available to anyone concerned about cancer and can also save lives by funding innovative cancer research.
It would be a great benefit to the Society if you could show your support and donate to this Daffodil Day using the QR code linked to the Irish Cancer Society fundraising page.
**Donations are captured via a smartphone QR code reader app. Open the app and direct it to the QR code on the bottom left of the poster, you will then be offered a link to the donation page** See the image below for the QR code.
