International Credit Union Day

International Credit Union Day has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948. The day is recognized to reflect upon the credit union movement’s history and to promote its achievements. It is a day to honour those who have dedicated their lives to the movement, recognize the hard work of those working in the credit union industry and show members our appreciation.

Every year Tipperary Credit Union celebrates Mass for members past and present and we also hold a Free Quiz on the night. We would like to thank everybody who has supported these events through the years.

Thank you to everybody who came to our Free Quiz Night at Lowrys bar recently. It was a brilliant night and the fight for first place was very tough.
The winning team nominated Kilfeacle RFC as the recipient of the €300 prize. Pictured below are Claire Costelloe (TCU), Jamie Keaty Kilfeacle RFC and Breda McCarthy (Director TCU).

The second place team nominated Tipp Town FC as the recipient of the €200 prize. Pictured below are Robert Creamer (Tipp Town FC), Claire Costelloe (TCU) and Michael Glasheen (Tipp Town FC).

Thank you to all who helped out on the night and hopefully we will see everybody again next year….
