With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) now in the Republic of Ireland, we are conscious some Members may wish to avoid coming into our offices to carry out transactions. Therefore we would like to remind Members that most Credit Union services are available online or over the phone.

Register For Online Banking To Have Full 24/7 Access From Home

Online Banking is the easiest way to ensure you have access to your savings without calling to any of the branches.Members that have registered for cuonline+ online banking can:
• Transfer money online
• Pay Bills
• Setup payees and internal transfers
• Apply for a loan
• Calculate loan repayments

How Can I Access My Money?

Use our new Debit Card to access your savings. Our new current account service with optional contactless MasterCard Debit card is now available to members. If you have not as of yet availed of this service and you are registered for online banking you can apply online using our easy online application. Find Out More About Current Account

We also offer a standalone ATM service where members can withdraw and lodge funds (savings only) at our ATM located at our Head Office. If you wish to apply for our ATM card please visit any branch office and complete an application form.

How Can How Can I Pay My Loan?

  • Use your Debit Card to pay over the phone.

  • Register for Online Banking.
  • Register for online banking at  and transfer money to your loan online. Click on the link to Register for Online Banking
  • Set-Up a Direct Debit.
    Set-up a Direct Debit for a regular payment to your loan.
  • Set-Up an Electronic Payment (EFT).
    Use your IBAN Number to carry out EFT payments from your bank account to your credit union account. Ask a member of staff for your IBAN Freephone 1800 62 22 62

How Can I Lodge To My Savings?

  • Use your Debit Card to pay over the phone.

  • Register for Online Banking.
    Register for online banking and transfer money to your loan online. Click on the link to Register for Online Banking
  • Set-Up a Direct Debit.
    Set-up a Direct Debit for a regular payment to your loan.
  • Use Our ATM located at our Head Office (only).
    Use our standalone ATM service to lodge or withdraw for your account. Visit any branch to apply for our ATM.

How Can I Apply For A Loan?

What Do I Do If I Have Any Concerns About Making My Loan Repayment As A Result Of COVID-19?

If you know that your company will be closing temporarily due to COVID-19 please do the following:

  • Contact Head Office immediately on (062) 80400 and a member of our Credit Control Team will advise you on all your options.
  • Please note it is important to contact as soon as possible so we can best advise you.
  • Warning – If you do not meet the repayment on your loan, your account will go into arrears. This may affect your credit rating which may limit your ability to access credit in the future.

Difficulty In Repaying A Credit Union Personal Loan

Tipperary Credit Union will try to facilitate members where possible. Do not ignore repayment problems, contact a member of our credit union staff to discuss repayment difficulties, or potential difficulties. Note Tipperary Credit Union do not give moratorium’s on Loan Repayments.

What Controls Do We Have In Place To Prevent The Spread Of The Virus At The Credit Union?

We would like to ensure members that Tipperary Credit Union are playing its part containing the virus by:
• Placing hand sanitisers in all public offices
• Regularly disinfecting member touchpoints
• Undertaking Regular staff training and communications on the Coronavirus COVID – 19
