Pride of Tipperary & Tipperary Festival 2018

We have just about recovered from the Pride of Tipperary and the Tipperary Festival. The weather held out and what fun we had.

Pride of Tipperary

The weekend of activities kicked off on Friday evening with the crowning of the Pride of Tipperary. Congratulations to Megan Morrisey the new Pride of Tipperary 2018. Well done to all the participants and to the Pride Committee who did a fantastic job in what was a very glamourous and exciting couple of weeks, with activities such as a Fashion Show, Table Quiz, Gala Dinner, Penalty Shoot Out, Interviews to name but a few.

Tipperary Credit Union were delighted to be one of the main sponsors and would like to thank Anna Tuohy-Halligan who was Tipperary Credit Union’s judge and representative for all the events. It was fantastic to see all the clubs and groups get involved and join the Parade on Friday evening creating a real community atmosphere.

This year proceeds from the Pride of Tipperary will go towards The Tipperary Town Autism Support Group. Once again well done to all involved.
