Joining Tipperary Credit Union Has Never Been Easier

Before you apply to join online please read the below checklist. This will explain what you need to have ready when applying to become a member of  Tipperary Credit Union and will save you time which we think is important!

PLEASE READ THE BELOW CHECKLIST BEFORE APPLYING

1.)   Review the common bond below to clarify your eligibility for membership. Ineligible applications will be declined.

2.)   Applications via digital onboarding are solely for applicant(s) of 16 years of age and over

3.)   Ensure you complete all sections of the application, as incomplete fields will delay processing your application.

4.)   During the application process, you will be asked to upload the following documents

  • Upload your snapshot image* – To help us verify your identity we require you to upload a recent snapshot of yourself (selfie of yourself)
  • Upload valid Photo ID documentation
  • Upload valid Proof of Address documentation
  • Upload valid Proof of PPS Number

We advise that you upload the required documents to your desktop or phone before you start the application process. It is important that all your documents meet the requirements and are in date, as incorrect, out of date or missing documents will delay the processing of your application. Scroll down for more information on examples of acceptable pieces of documents that are required.

5.)   Please note you can save a partial application and update the application within 14 days of saving such. Ensure you take note of the reference number (e.g. screenshot), as this reference number will be required when resuming your application

What do you need to have ready before you fill in the membership application form?

ADULT MEMBER REQUIREMENTS (ALL 3 TYPES REQUIRED)

1.To help us verify your identity we require you to upload a recent snapshot of yourself (selfie of yourself)

2.Evidence of Identification (must have a date of birth and recent photo)

  • Current valid passport or Current valid driving licence
  • Please note we can no longer accept the Personal Services Card as proof of Photographic Identification

3. Evidence of Address (must show your name & current address and be dated within the last 6 months)

  • Original Recent Utility Bill
  • Original Recent Bank/Credit Card Statement
  • Original Correspondence from Government Department/Body

4. Evidence of your PPS number

  • Payslip
  • Any revenue documentation
  • Please note we can no longer accept the Personal Services Card as proof of PPS Number
