As a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis we are conscious some members may wish to avoid coming into our offices to carry out transactions.
REMINDER – You can make loan payments by Debit Card without having to visit an office – to make a payment via Debit Card you can phone any of our offices (062 80400) or make a Debit Card payment securely via cuonline (under lodgement menu)
We are conscious that some members will as a result of the crisis have difficulties in meeting their loan repayment, please contact our Credit Control team at 062 80400 who are there to help.

Register for online banking to have full 24/7 access from home
Online Banking is the easiest way to ensure you have access to your savings without calling to any of the branches.Members that have registered for cuonline+ online banking can:
- Transfer money online
- Members can now pay their loan or lodge to savings using their Debit Card Online.
- Pay Bills
- Setup payees and internal transfers
- Apply for a loan
- Calculate loan repayments

How can I access my money?
Use our new Debit Card to access your savings. Our new current account service with optional contactless MasterCard Debit card is now available to members. If you have not as of yet availed of this service and you are registered for online banking you can apply online using our easy online application. Find Out More About Current Account
We also offer a standalone ATM service where members can withdraw and lodge funds (savings only) at our ATM located at our Head Office. If you wish to apply for our ATM card please visit any branch office and complete an application form.

Set-up a Direct Debit for a regular payment to your loan. - Set-Up an Electronic Payment (EFT).

What happens if the Credit Union has to close?
We would hope that this will not happen however we have to plan for most eventualities. We have put into place some alternative measures that can be introduced in the event that the Credit Union has to close. We will continue to offer a phone service to our members however some of our services may be limited we will however be able to:
- Take loan repayments over the phone using a debit card or bank account
- Give advice on online transactions
- Provide a limited loans service (application and issue)
What controls do we have in place to prevent the spread of the virus at the credit union?
We would like to ensure members that Tipperary Credit Union are playing its part containing the virus by:
- Placing hand sanitisers in all public offices
- Ensuring Social Distancining is being adhered to
- Regularly disinfecting member touchpoints
- Undertaking Regular staff training and communications on COVID – 19
- Private Member Area Available
