Transition Year Bursary Awards

We have five €500 TY Bursaries up for grabs!

We at Tipperary Credit Union are aware of the benefits of a student completing the Transition Year program. Designed to help students develop not just on an educational level but also on a personal, social, and vocational level it has a very positive effect on the student.

Transition Year can prove an expensive year and that is why at Tipperary Credit Union we set up the Transition Year Bursary. Tipperary Credit Union offers five €500 bursaries, one to each of the five secondary schools in our common bond.

One lucky student from each of the five following secondary schools in the Common Bond of Tipperary Credit Union will win a €500 bursary towards their school’s Transition Year Programmes fees:

  • Castletroy College, Limerick.
  • Scoil Na Trionoide Naofa, Doon, Limerick
  • St Ailbe’s Secondary School, Tipperary Town.
  • St Anne’s Secondary School, Tipperary Town.
  • The Abbey CBS, Tipperary Town.
  • The winning student from each school will need to open an account with Tipperary Credit Union or be an existing member to receive the award.
  • The €500 will be paid directly to the school for the cost of participating in their school’s Transition Year Programme. If some of the Transition Year fee has already been paid in advance by the student, the remainder will be lodged to the student’s Tipperary Credit Union Account. Proof of payment will be required.
